“Scenic Route” is my first series of original artwork.

In my 3 years as a traveling live painter, I have visited 25 different states. Washington and Oregon are the 2 places that I fell in love with. Once I made the decision to create my first collection of artwork, I knew the Pacific Northwest would be my muse.

“Scenic Route” is centered around landscapes and colors that you might not expect from the PNW if you haven’t traveled or lived there. Many times people associate it with gloomy, dark, rainy weather. I wanted to show the wild variety of color and beauty that is there to enjoy.

I wanted “Scenic Route” to feel like a collection of memories from the road: colorful and adventurous. A view from the passenger seat, the feeling of pulling over because the landscape is just too beautiful to pass by, and taking the long way to get to your next destination.

Travel and art are two of my great passions. For this reason, I have created an illustrated map with a coordinating day trip itinerary in Oregon or Washington, which will be included with each purchase of a print or original from the series. I hope the paintings and itinerary inspire you to get on the road, take the scenic route, and make an adventure out of it.
